Unique on EFNet

   The history of the channel #unique goes a long way back. It starts sometime in 1998 (long time, yeah). I (TwinB) started the channel after running a channel called #kidschat. Got tired of that channel and Zorix, zdogg, and I wanted to create something new. I essentially created the channel #unique.

   Why the name 'unique' you ask? Well I was wanting to create a channel that was different from all the others, a name that set our channel apart from all the others; something unique. Yeah, that's how the name spawned. I wanted a unique channel name so I was like "what the hell, I'll name it unique," and the history starts. It is now the year 2007, and we have been open for business for 9 years straight.

   We've had some down falls but we have held strong through the takeovers and arguments. We have all become a family so to speak. We are still hanging around the same old channel talking with the same old people. It can be a 'lively' environment at times but at other times it can be a 'dead' environment. From the beginning of  #unique's history the channel has attracted some pretty cool and friendly characters. It really is a unique atmosphere with unique personalities.

   People have come and gone, mainly through 'friend of a friend' is how we grew in user base. We are wanting to reach out to new users and get our old users back. Hopefully you can find this site through some sort of fate and join back up and chat with us.
